Edsteps collaborates with higher education institutions, test providers, and industry bodies to provide students with accurate information and expanded opportunities. This policy outlines how those partnerships operate.

🏢Partnership Philosophy

Our partnerships exist to benefit the student — by unlocking exclusive resources, verifying institutional data, and streamlining the exploration process. We do not engage in partnerships that compromise the neutrality of our platform.

🔍Partner Vetting

Every organisation seeking an institutional partnership with Edsteps is vetted for:

  • Accreditation status (for universities and colleges)
  • Track record of student success and ethical admission practices
  • Alignment with Edsteps' mission of transparent, unbiased exploration
  • Compliance with international data protection standards

⚖️Independence & Non-Bias

Edsteps is an unbiased platform. Institutional partnerships do not influence our AI recommendations, mentor matching algorithms, or core ranking mechanisms.

Partners cannot pay to manipulate student search results or artificially boost their visibility at the expense of a student's true fit.

📊Data Sharing with Partners

How we handle data with our institutional partners:

  • We do not sell student contact lists to universities
  • Your personal information is only shared with a partner institution if you explicitly opt-in (e.g., requesting a prospectus, signing up for an event)
  • Partners may receive aggregated, anonymised trend data (e.g., 'interest in Engineering courses in the UK rose by 12%') to help them improve their offerings

📝Partner Content

When partner institutions contribute content to Edsteps (such as articles, webinars, or campus profiles), it will be clearly labelled as provided by the partner. We retain editorial control to ensure all content remains objective and genuinely useful to students.

🛑Termination of Partnership

Edsteps reserves the right to terminate any institutional partnership immediately if the partner is found to be engaging in deceptive recruitment practices, losing accreditation, or violating our Trust & Safety guidelines.

💼Partner Inquiries

Institutions interested in partnering with Edsteps must undergo our formal application process. We do not accept unsolicited promotional partnerships.
