Refund Policy

Transparent, Fair, and Accountable
At EdSteps, we are committed to providing high-quality, personalised support for your international academic and athletic admissions journey. Our refund policy is designed to ensure clarity, fairness, and accountability.

1. Payment Structure
We follow a two-part payment model to balance commitment and flexibility:

  • 60% Advance Payment: Payable at the time of engaging our services.

  • 40% Final Payment: Due only upon confirmation of admission from the applied institution(s).

This structure gives students and families confidence in their investment while recognising the time and expertise our team provides from the outset.

2. General Policy – No Refunds
Once the 60% advance payment is made and services have commenced, this amount becomes non-refundable.
This is because our team begins working immediately on:

  • Consultations

  • Document review

  • Shortlisting of universities

  • Application assistance

The advance fee covers these services already rendered.

3. Exception – Refund Due to Verified EdSteps Error
A refund may be considered only if a student's application is rejected solely due to a verifiable mistake by EdSteps, such as:

  • Incorrect submission of documents

  • Missed deadlines directly attributable to our team

Review Process:

  • The issue will be thoroughly investigated by our internal team

  • Relevant documentation and timelines will be transparently reviewed

  • If validated, a partial or full refund may be issued at the discretion of EdSteps management

4. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • Student voluntarily withdraws or changes their decision after services begin

  • Rejection due to academic ineligibility, such as grades or test scores

  • Visa denial due to reasons beyond EdSteps' control (e.g. documentation, interview, or immigration policy changes)

  • Lack of response or delay from the student or parent affecting outcomes

  • Submission of incomplete or incorrect documents despite guidance

  • Rejections caused by external factors such as:

    • Institutional quotas

    • Course closures

    • Sudden university policy changes

5. Final Note
We believe in building trust through clarity and transparency.
Our refund policy aims to:

  • Protect your investment

  • Ensure fairness for all parties involved
